The electric countdown clock in front of the Olympic Tower and near the Bird's Nest made an enthusiastic statement on Thursday: Only 100 days to go before the start of the 2008 Beijing Paralympics Games. Beijing vice-mayor and BOCOG leader Liu Jingming took the lead in unveiling the Paralympic countdown clock in front of the Olympic Tower. The easily recognizable Paralympic countdown clock showcases the Paralympic symbol on a background of white, underneath which sits the words "Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games."  [Full story ]
