Thomas Geierspichler of Austria won the Men's Marathon T52 with a time of 1:40:07 to set a new world record during the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing on September 17, 2008. Ueyonabaru Hirokazu and Takada Toshihiro of Japan took the silver and bronze, respectively.
