| ALLOCATION OF QUALIFICATION |
The qualification is allocated to the NPC not the individual athlete. |
| MAXIMUM QUOTA ALLOCATION PER NPC |
An NPC can be allocated a maximum of seven (7) qualification slots for the men's events and six (6) for the women's events for a total of thirteen (13) qualification slots. |
| ATHLETE ELIGIBILITY | To be eligible for selection by an NPC, athletes must have competed in at least one international IBSA Judo competition between 1 January 2006 and 31 January 2008. |
| MAXIMUM ENTRY PER NPC |
An NPC can enter a maximum of one (1) eligible athlete per individual
event. NPC may only enter athletes in weight categories in which they have achieved a qualification slot. |

WORLD RANKING ALLOCATION |
The top five (5) ranked male athletes on the IBSA Judo Male World Ranking
List in each weight category closing 31 December 2007, not otherwise qualified,
will attain a qualification slot for their NPC in the corresponding
weight category. The top three (3) ranked male athletes on the IBSA Judo Female World Ranking List in each weight category closing 31 December 2007, not otherwise qualified, will attain a qualification slot for their NPC in the corresponding weight category |

DATES / PROCESS OF CONFIRMATION OF QUALIFICATION SLOTS
By 4 April 2008, each NPC must confirm to IBSA in writing (fax and e-mails are accepted) the number of qualification slots they will use. NPCs that have not replied by this date will have lost their team qualification slots, and IBSA may reallocate these slots.
By 25 April 2008, IBSA will confirm in writing the reallocation of all unused team qualification slots.
By 25 April 2008, it is officially declared that the respective NPCs will use the allocated quota granted for the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games. Any NPC that
does not use some or all qualification slots allocated may be subject to sanctions by the IPC and IBSA.
REALLOCATION OF UNUSED QUALIFICATION SLOTS
Any qualification slots allocated to an NPC that are not used will be reallocated to the highest ranked and not otherwise qualified athlete in the corresponding weight category on the IBSA Judo World Ranking List closing 31 December 2007.
