National Indoor Stadium all set for gymnastics and trampoline invitationals

(BEIJING, November 27) -- The preparations for the Good Luck Beijing 2007 Artistic Gymnastics International Invitational Tournament and the Good Luck Beijing 2007 Trampoline Gymnastics International Invitational Tournament are all set, advised the operations team of the National Indoor Stadium at a press conference Tuesday afternoon.

The Good Luck Beijing 2007 Artistic Gymnastics International Invitational Tournament will run from November 28 to December 3. The invitational tournament program includes 12 events, compared with 14 events for the Olympic Artistic Gymnastics competition, as the women's team event and the men's individual all-around event have been eliminated from this program.

Competition apparatuses all in place

The Good Luck Beijing 2007 Trampoline Gymnastics International Invitational Tournament is scheduled for November 30-December 3, with 32 athletes across 13 teams slated to compete.

A visit to the stadium revealed that the organization work for the competitions was basically complete. Federation International of Gymnastics (FIG) technical officials were doing finals tests for the equipment.

Tickets sales have also been doing well. According to sales figures, over ten thousand tickets have already been sold.
